Dr Ed Briggs
Dr Edward Briggs graduated from Birmingham University in 1999 and has spent his career in the West Midlands. He undertook Specialist Anaesthetic training in Birmingham and the Warwickshire Rotation, before joining Burton as a Consultant Anaesthetist in April 2008.
His specialist interests are regional anaesthesia and total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA).
Most of his sessions are providing anaesthesia for ENT and Orthopaedic surgery and he has a particular interest in performing ultrasound guided nerve blocks, for post operative pain relief.
Dr Briggs also has an interest in medical education and is currently studying for his Masters degree at WarwickUniversity.
